Common questions
What counts as a scan?+
One image or one video clip counts as one scan. A batch API call that sends 10 images counts as 10 scans.
What happens if I hit my Pro limit?+
You'll see a notice when you reach 100% of your monthly allowance. Scanning continues with a soft overage rather than a hard cutoff — we'll reach out before charging anything extra.
Why no per-scan price on the API plan?+
We don't know your inference cost precisely until we've seen your volume and content mix. Video costs more than images. We'd rather quote against what you're currently paying than lock you into a rate that doesn't make sense.
Can I use Pro on multiple accounts?+
Pro is licensed per account. Teams with multiple users should use the API plan, which includes organization-level billing.
Is my media stored?+
No. Witness analyzes your file and discards it immediately. Only the scan verdict and basic metadata are retained. See our privacy policy for full details.
