Witness processes images and videos in memory and discards them immediately after analysis. Uploaded media is never stored, shared, or used for training. Only the scan verdict and basic metadata are retained for your scan history. Witness is built with a privacy-first architecture.
Can Witness detect AI-generated videos and deepfakes?+

Witness accepts JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, and AVIF for images. For video, MP4 and WebM are supported. Maximum file size is 20 MB for images and 100 MB for videos. The Chrome extension handles any image format displayed in the browser automatically.
Can a Witness scan be used as legal evidence?+
